SIP Project Management
(Acquired by Colliers International in 2018)
2011 – 2015 / 2018 – 2019

SIP is a British-owned company and ranks among the largest Western project management firms in China.

I worked at SIP with the Central Technical Unit (CTU) team, which focuses on the technical aspect of the project. The CTU acts as a liaison between the foreign client and the local designer and contractor in the design and tendering stage, bridging the gap between Western and Chinese building standards.

My responsibilities are:

  1. Attending SIP’s Stage 1 workshop meetings with the client’s team to develop Client Requirements: Design Brief, Concept Design, Materials and Technical Specifications)

  2. Reviewing the Chinese design company’s  deliverables, assessing the design process and issuing a report to the client

  3. Assessing general contractor’s tender documents based on SIP’s criteria, giving scores and making recommendations

  4. Providing general architectural advice and support to SIP’s staff and clients
