Work History in Dubai
2003 – 2015
Dubai was a dynamic place during my stay there. The economy was booming and most of the infrastructure and urban design in Dubai today was being established at the time. This is reflected in the type and size of the projects I worked on there.
M-Engineering, 2009 – 2011
M-Engineering is a US-based MEP and infrastructure company that also serves as a lead consultant in some architectural projects in partnership with a sub-consultant architectural company.
As a Project Manager, I was responsible for:

Connecting project parties which are M-Engineering as the lead consultant, the architectural designer, and the client

Coordinating work teams (architectural, structural MEP, QS, etc.) and controlling the deliverables’ quality in the design and tendering stages

Controlling the budget and Value Engineering

Managing tendering process and representing the designer in the Tender Opening Committee
Graham Jones Al-Ewan, 2007 – 2009

I led the office team for medium to large-scale residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects

Prepared design development, working drawings, and specifications

Coordinated projects with various teams; architects, structural, MEP, material suppliers, etc

I created project proposals and presentations, conceptual designs, floor area ratio (FAR), feasibility studies, etc
Eng. Adnan Saffarini Office, 2004 – 2007
Saffarini Office is well-known in Dubai and has a significant share of the entire United Arab Emirates (UAE) construction market. It has designed several feature projects in the country, such as the world’s tallest residential building between 2012-2015.
At Saffarini, I prepared detailed construction drawings for high-rise residential buildings (up to 50 stories) and coordinated with other project engineers as per the authorities’ regulations
